Phuket Vegetarian Festival will be from 28 September – 06 October. It is held at various Chinese shrines in Mueang District which sprawls from around Phuket Town and down the south east corner of the island. On the 6th day of the festival there will be a procession around the city which includes demonstrations of face and body piercing.
