Hanoi to Hong Kong and Thai Airways goes back to Da Nang
August 10th, 2026. Vietnam’s Sun PhuQuoc Airways has a couple of new routes lined up for September. The first will be a daily service between the airline’s home base, Phu Quoc Island, and Kuala Lumpur. The route will operate daily starting on September 1st.
Flight number 9G751 will take off from Phu Quoc International Airport at 13:45 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 16:20. The return trip, flight number 9G750, leaves Kuala Lumpur at 17:20 and touches down back in Phu Quoc at 17:55.
The journey time will be about ninety-five minutes in each direction, and an Airbus A321 Neo will operate the route.
Hanoi to Hong Kong
On September 30th, the airline will add a daily service linking the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, with Hong Kong.
Flight number 9G530 will depart from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport at 09:20 and will land at Hong Kong International Airport at 12:05. The return leg, flight number 9G531, will leave Hong Kong at 13:05 and arrive back in Hanoi at 14:00.
An Airbus A321 Neo will also serve this flight, and the journey time will be about one hour and forty-five minutes for the outbound flight, and about ten minutes longer for the return.
Bangkok to Da Nang
After a 13-year hiatus, Thai Airways International will resume its service connecting Bangkok with Da Nang, in central Vietnam. Da Nang is the gateway to the historic, UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An and also boasts some nice sandy beaches. The airline will operate morning and afternoon flights daily commencing on December 1st.
The morning service, flight number TG558, takes off from Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 08:00 and arrives at Da Nang International Airport at 09:45. The return journey, flight number TG559, leaves Da Nang at 10:45 and lands back in Bangkok at 12:40.
In the afternoon, flight number TG594 leaves Bangkok at 16:20 and touches down in Da Nang at 18:05. The return leg, flight number TG595, will depart from Da Nang at 19:05 and arrive back in Bangkok at 21:00.
The outbound journey will last about one hour and forty-five minutes, and about ten minutes longer for the return. An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route.
