PIA to resume its Islamabad to Beijing service
August 17th, 2026. Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flynas will be launching a route between Riyadh and Kochi. The service commences on September 2nd and will operate three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number XY399 will take off from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport at 00:05 and will land at Cochin International Airport, Kochi at 08:00. The return journey, flight number XY400, will leave Kochi at 08:50 and land back in Riyadh at 11:35.
An Airbus A320 Neo will serve the route, and the journey time will be five hours and twenty-five minutes for the outbound flight, and about ten minutes quicker for the return.
A month later, on October 3rd, Flyadeal will introduce its second route to India with a service between Riyadh and Mumbai. The flight will operate five times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number F3663 will depart from Riyadh at 00:55 and will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, at 07:40. The return trip, flight number F3664, will leave Mumbai at 08:40 and touch down again in Riyadh at 10:15.
The route will be served by an Airbus A320neo aircraft, and the journey time will be four hours and fifteen minutes for the outbound flight and about ten minutes faster for the return.
Islamabad to Beijing
Pakistan International Airlines will resume its service between Islamabad and Beijing. The flight will operate on Fridays only staring on October 30th.
Flight number PK854 will depart from Islamabad International Airport at 09:25, and will touch down at Beijing’s Capital International Airport at 18:00. The return leg, flight number PK855, will leave Beijing at 19:55 and land back in Islamabad at 23:25.
The outbound journey will last about five and a half hours, and the return will be about one hour longer. A Boeing 777-300ER will serve the flight.
