IndiGo relaunches its service between Tiruchchirappalli and Abu Dhabi
July 15th, 2026. Riyadh Air is launching a new route between the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and Kuala Lumpur. The service will take off on July 30th and depart three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number RX863 will depart from King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, at 22:50 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 11:50 the next day. The return trip, flight number RX864, will leave Kuala Lumpur at 16:45 and will land back in Riyadh at 19:45.
The journey time will be about eight hours in each direction, and the route will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
To Mumbai
The airline has also opened reservations for a service connecting Riyadh with India’s commercial hub, Mumbai. The new route will launch on August 4th and will operate daily.
Flight number RX697 will depart from Riyadh at 14:05 and will touch down at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 20:35. The return leg, flight number RX698, will leave Mumbai at 22:05 and arrive back in Riyadh at 23:50.
A Boeing 787-9 aircraft will be deployed for the route, and the flight time will be about four hours for the outbound flight, and about fifteen minutes more for the return.
Tiruchchirappalli to Abu Dhabi
Meanwhile, India’s favourite low-cost airline, IndiGo, is to resume its service between Tiruchchirappalli and Abu Dhabi. The route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays commencing on August 15th.
Flight number 6E1439 will take off from Tiruchirappalli International Airport at 09:50 and arrive at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi at 12:40. In the other direction, flight number 6E1440 will leave Abu Dhabi at 02:30 and touch down in Tiruchirappalli at 08:15.
The journey will be on board an Airbus A320 Neo aircraft, and the flight time will be about four hours and fifteen minutes in each direction.
