New routes from Nha Trang to Singapore, and Kota Bharu to Jakarta
March 28th, 2026. Vietjet has lined up a new route connecting Nha Trang with Singapore. The service will take off on June 1st, complementing the airline’s four other routes to the Lion City, from Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc.
The new service will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number VJ917 will depart from Cam Ranh Airport, Nha Trang at 10:25 and arrive at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 13:40. The return trip will leave Singapore at 15:15 and touch down again in Nha Trang at 16:35.
The flight time will be about two hours and fifteen minutes in each direction, and the flight will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft.
Kota Bharu to Jakarta
On June 16th, AirAsia Malaysia will launch its 20th route to the Indonesian archipelago with a service linking Kota Bharu, on the northeast coast, with Jakarta.
“We are thrilled to introduce this new connectivity, and the timing is ideal to further stimulate our northern coastal destination with more international travellers. As Kelantan expands into the medical tourism space, especially targeting Indonesia and neighbouring countries, stronger air links are essential”, said Fareh Mazputra, the airline’s general manager.
The service will operate four times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight number AK2353 will take off from Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kota Bharu, at 10:00 and arrive at Jakarta’s Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 11:40. The return leg, flight number AK2354, will leave Jakarta at 12:10 and arrive back in Kota Bharu at 15:50.
An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be about two hours and forty minutes each way.
