New flights from Hangzhou to Vientiane, Guilin to Hanoi, and Yangzhou to Bangkok

March 23rd, 2026. Loong Air is launching a time-limited service between its home base in Hangzhou and the capital of Laos, Vientiane. The service will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, between March 31st and June 30th.

Flight number GJ8705 will take off from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 14:15 and arrive at Wattay International Airport, Vientiane at 17:05. The return leg, flight number GJ8706, will leave Vientiane at 18:05 and arrive back in Hangzhou at 22:50.

The journey will take about three hours and forty-five minutes in each direction, and the route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Guilin to Hanoi

Commencing on April 7th, Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines will add a route connecting Guilin with Hanoi. The service will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but with two different time slots.

On Tuesdays, GX8917 will depart from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 13:35 and will arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi at 14:05. The return leg, flight number GX8918, leaves Hanoi at 15:05 and lands back in Guilin at 17:35.

On Saturdays, the flight departs from Guilin at 11:30, and arrives in Hanoi at 12:00. It leaves Hanoi at 13:00 and arrives back at 15:30.

An Airbus A320 aircraft will make the journey in about 90 minutes each way.

Yangzhou to Bangkok

On April 11, Spring Airlines will launch a service connecting Yangzhou, central Jiangsu Province, with Bangkok.

Flight number 9C6649 will take off from Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport at 21:30 and arrive at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 01:15 the following morning. The return trip, flight number 9C6650, will leave the Thai capital at 03:05 and touch down again in Yangzhou at 08:20.

Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be four hours and forty five minutes for the outbound journey and about half an hour less for the return.
