Saudi Arabia is planning to boost tourism with the introduction of a multiple entry tourist visa. Residents of 49 countries can now apply for an e-visa online via this portal or visa on arrival.
The cost of the e-visa is SAR 440 (US$ 118 approximately) and is valid for one year allowing multiple entries for visits up to a maximum of 90 days within that year.
The 49 eligible countries are:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA and Ukraine.
Saudi Arabia is rich in history and boasts both beautiful landscapes and pristine beaches. The government is also committed to developing a tourist infrastructure with 20 projects already in progress and more to follow.
