October 28th, 2025. Singapore Airlines’ low-cost sibling Scoot is expanding its presence in Indonesia with four new flights to be added to its timetable over the next few months. First on the runway will be a twice-weekly flight to Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park and its famous dragons.

Flight number TR290 will depart from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 05:30 on Sundays and arrive at Komodo International Airport, Labuan Bajo at 08:50. The return journey, flight number TR291, will depart Labuan Bajo at 09:25 and land back in Singapore at 12:55.

On Thursdays, flight number TR292 will leave Singapore at 14:20 and arrive at 17:40. It returns as flight number TR293, leaving Labuan Bajo at 18:15 and landing in Singapore at 21:45.

The flight duration will be about three and a half hours each way, and the aircraft will be an Embraer E190-E2.

Semarang

Two days later, on December 23rd, a service to Semarang, the capital of Central Java and a major port during the Dutch colonial period. The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, but from January, a Thursday flight will be added.

This route also features two different time slots. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, flight number TR240 will depart from Singapore at 15:05 and will arrive at Jenderal Achmad Yani International Airport in Semarang at 16:10. The return leg, flight number TR241, leaves Semarang at 16:55 and lands back in Singapore at 20:00.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, flight number TR250 will leave Singapore at 06:10 and arrive in Semarang at 07:20. The return trip departs from Semarang at 08:05 and touches down in Singapore at 11:10

An Airbus A320 will serve the route, the duration of which will be a little over two hours.

Palembang

A route to Palembang, the capital of South Sumatra, will take off on January 15th. It will operate four times a week and, like previous services, will offer two different time options.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, flight number TR206 will depart from Singapore at 20:45 and arrive at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport, Palembang at 21:10. It will return as flight number TR207, leaving Palembang at 21:45 and touching down in Singapore at 23:55

On Thursdays and Saturdays, flight number TR254 will leave Singapore at 05:55
and arrive in Palembang at 06:20. Flight number TR255 will make the return trip, leaving Palembang at 07:10 and landing in Singapore at 09:30.

The 80-minute flight will be served by an Embraer E190-E2.

Medan

A daily service to Medan in North Sumatra will be launched on February 1st.

Flight number TR244 will take off from Singapore at 15:25 and arrive at Medan’s Kualanamu International Airport at 15:50. The return leg, flight number TR245, will depart from Medan at 16:35 and land back in Singapore at 19:00.

An Airbus A320 will serve the route, and the flight time will be about 85 minutes in each direction.

And Transnusa links Bali with the Lion City

Commencing on November 17th, TransNusa will launch a service between Bali and Singapore. The flight will operate three times a week on Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays.

Flight Number 8B-551 will take off from Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar at 07:00 and arrive in Singapore at 09:40. The return leg, flight number 8B-552, will leave Singapore at 10:55 and arrive back in Denpasar at 13:30.

An Airbus A320-200 will serve the route, and the duration will be about two hours and forty minutes in each direction.
