New Scoot routes lined up
Two for Japan and one to Chaing Rai, in Thailand
October 22nd, 2025. Singapore’s low cost carrier has already opened reservations for the services which will be introduced gradually between December and March 2026. First on the runway will be a flight to Okinawa which will take off on December 15th and operate three times a week on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays.
Flight number TR834 will depart from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 02:15 and arrive at Naha International Airport, Okinawa at 08:20. The return trip, flight number TR835, will leave Okinawa at 09:20 and arrive back in Singapore at 13:45.
The duration of the outbound flight will be approximately five hours, and the return about half an hour longer. The route will be served by an Airbus A321 Neo aircraft.
Daily flights to Tokyo’s Haneda airport will begin on March 1st 2026. Flight number TR882 will take off from Singapore at 17:30 and will touch down in Tokyo at 01:00 the following morning. The return leg will leave Tokyo at 02:15 and land back in Singapore at 08:50.
The route will be served by a Boeing 787-800 and the duration will be about six and a half hours outward, and an hour longer for the return.
Five times a week to Chiang Rai
Services to the northern Thai city of Chiang Rai will begin on January 1st, 2026. The flights will operate five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays but with two different time slots.
On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, flight number TR670 will depart from Singapore at 16:40 and will touch down at Mae Fah Luang – Chiang Rai International Airport at 18:50. The return journey, flight number TR671, will leave Chiang Rai at 19:25 and land back in Singapore at 23:45.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays flight number TR660 will leave Singapore at 05:50 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 08:00. The return leg, flight number TR661, departs from Chaing Mai at 08:35 and touches down again in Singapore at 12:55.
The route will be served by an Embraer E190-E2 aircraft and the journey time will be approximately three hours and fifteen minutes.
