Jetstar Asia returns to Broome
AirAsia launch service to Darwin

March 19th, 2025. Jetstar Asia is resuming its seasonal service between Singapore and Broome, a remote tourist town in the northern part of Western Australia.

Broome is a long way from just about everywhere. It sits on the edge of the Indian Ocean, the nearest major town is Darwin, over a thousand kilometres away, and the surrounding landscape is mostly flat. It is, however, one of the best spots in the world for whale-watching tours.

From June through to September pods of majestic humpbacks migrate from their feeding grounds in the Antarctic to mate and give birth in warmer waters. The area is also home to a wealth of other marine life. When you have seen enough of that you can visit the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park or chill out on Cable Beach.

The service will operate twice a week between April 1st and October 25th with departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays and a different time slot for each. Flight number 3K161 departs from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 09:50 and arrives in Broome at 14:00. The return leg, flight number 3K162, Departs from Broome at 15:00 and lands back in Singapore at 19:10.

On Saturdays, flight number 3K167, will depart from Singapore at 12:15 and arrive in Broome at 16:25. It returns as flight number 3K168 leaving Broome at 17:25 and touching down in Singapore at 21:35.

The flight is served by Airbus A320-200 aircraft and the duration is four hours and ten minutes.
