New route from Ho Chi Minh to Phuket
Air China route to Jeju, Malaysia Airlines to Fukuoka
May 11th, 2026. Vietnam Airlines will introduce a new route between Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket commencing on July 2nd. The flight will operate five times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number VN621 will take off from Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat Airport at 16:00 and arrive at Phuket International Airport at 17:50. The return leg, flight number VN620, will leave Phuket at 18:45 and touch down again in Ho Chi Minh at 20:45.
The journey time will be about two hours each way, and Airbus A321 aircraft will serve the flight.
Wenzhou to Jeju
May 11th, 2026. Starting on June 5th, Air China will launch a service connecting Wenzhou, in China’s Zhejiang province, with Jeju Island in South Korea. The flights will commence on June 5th and operate twice a week with two different time slots.
On Fridays, flight number CA733 will depart from Wenzhou’s Longwan International Airport at 14:05 and touch down at Jeju International Airport at 17:05. On Sundays, the same flight departs at 15:15 and arrives at 18:15. The return journeys, flight number CA734, will leave Jeju at 18:15 on Saturdays and 19:25 on Sundays, arriving back in Wenzhou at 19:15 and 20:25 respectively.
Airbus A320 aircraft will be deployed for the route, and the journey time is scheduled to be two hours in each direction.
Kuala Lumpur to Fukuoka
For those who like to book well in advance, Malaysia Airlines is accepting reservations for its Kuala Lumpur to Fukuoka route. The service will hit the runway on September 2nd and depart on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Flight number MH56 will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 23:45 and arrive at Fukuoka Airport at 07:05 the following day. The return trip, flight number MH57, will leave Fukuoka at 10:00 on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will land back in Kuala Lumpur at 15:45.
The outbound flight duration will be approximately six hours and twenty minutes, and about half an hour for the return. A Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft will serve the route.
