New link between Beijing and Sydney
New services between Wuxi and Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Changsha

March 4th, 2026. China Eastern Airlines is set to introduce a service between Beijing and Sydney, with a two-hour stop in Wuhan, commencing on March 29th. The flight will depart three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number MU2021 will take off from Beijing Daxing International Airport at 15:25 and arrive at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 17:30 it will continue its journey at 19:30 and arrive at Kingsford Smith Airport, Sydney at 09:00 the next morning. The return journey, flight number MU2022, will leave Sydney at 10:00 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It will stopover in Wuhan between 19:00 and 20:55 and finally arrive back in Beijing at 23:05.

An Airbus A330-200 aircraft will serve the route, and the duration will be about fifteen and a half hours, outbound, and about thirty minutes less for the return.

Wuxi to Kuala Lumpur

Starting from March 19th Juneyao Airlines will introduce a service connecting Wuxi, in China’s Jiangsu province, with Malaysia’s commercial hub, Kuala Lumpur. The flight will operate three times a week with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flight number HO1563 will depart from Shuofang Airport, Wuxi Shuofang Airport at 20:55 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 02:50 the next morning. The return leg, flight number HO1564, will leave Kuala Lumpur at 04:10 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and will touch down again in Wuxi at 09:45.

The journey time will be a little under six hours for the outbound trip and about half an hour less for the return. An Airbus A320 Neo will serve the route.

Bangkok to Changsha

Thai Airways International has lined up a route linking Bangkok with Changsha, i Hunan Province. The flight will operate daily, launching on May 10th.

Flight number TG694 will take off from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 15:50 and arrive at Huanghua International Airport, Changsha at 20:20. The return trip, flight number TG695, will leave Changsha at 21:20 and touch down again in Bangkok at 23:45.

The flight will last for about three and a half hours in each direction and will be served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft.
