The route will operate five times a week and will depart, at least initially, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The return journey, flight number HO1566, will leave Manila at 03:10 on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive back in Shanghai at 06:35.

An Airbus 320 aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be three hours and forty minutes for the outward journey and about fifteen minutes quicker for the return.
