VietJet adds Ho Chi Minh to Sydney and S7 to launch Irkutsk to Sanya
November 6th, 2026. Jin Air will be launching a route between Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City. The service will operate daily commencing on December 24th.
Flight number LJ131 will depart from Incheon International Airport, Seoul, at 21:30 and will touch down at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 01:15 the following day. The return trip, flight number LJ132, will leave Ho Chi Minh at 02:15 and will arrive back in Seoul at 09:15.
A Boeing B737-800 will serve the route. The outbound flight time will be five hours and forty-five minutes, and the return will be five hours.
Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney
On January 9th, VietJet will launch a service connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the new airport in Sydney, Australia. The route will depart twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Flight number VJ087 will take off from Ho Chi Minh City at 21:25 and arrive at Western Sydney International – Nancy-Bird Walton Airport at 10:00 the next day. The return leg, flight number VJ088, will leave Sydney at 12:05 on Sundays and Wednesdays and land back in Ho Chi Minh at 16:40.
The Journey time will be about eight and a half hours each way, and the flight will be served by an Airbus A330 Aircraft.
Irkutsk to Sanya
On December 30th, S7 Airlines will launch a new route between Irkutsk and Sanya, on China’s Hainan Island. The service will operate twice a week departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays with two different time slots.
On Wednesdays flight number S76333 will depart from International Airport Irkutsk at 22:15, and will arrive at Sanya’s Phoenix International Airport at 04:05 the following morning. The return journey, flight number S76334, will leave Sanya at 04:55 on Thursdays and arrive back in Irkutsk at 11:05.
The Saturday service will depart from Irkutsk at 23:30 and arrive in Sanya at 05:05 the next day. It will depart again at 05:05 on Sundays and arrive back in Irkutsk at 12:15.
The journey time will be approximately six hours in each direction, and the flight will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
