India connects with Dubai and Brunei
From Borneo to Chennai

November 13th, 2024. Starting from from November 22nd India’s popular low-cost carrier, Indigo Airlines, will begin daily operations between Pune and Dubai. The UAE is one of the most popular destinations, both business and leisure, for Indian travellers.

“With the introduction of these flights, IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly, direct, flights to Dubai from 13 cities in India, and now proudly offers a wide choice of more than 225 weekly flights into the UAE from 18 cities in India,” said Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales.

Pune is a major IT and industrial hub particularly known for its auto industry which builds for General Motors, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Renault, and Volkswagen among others.

Flight number 6E1483 will depart from Pune at 00:15 and arrive in Dubai at 02:15. The return leg is scheduled to leave Dubai at 17:40 and arrive back in Pune at 22:10. The flight will be serviced by an Airbus A320 and will take approximately three hours and thirty minutes.

From Borneo to Chennai

Royal Brunei Airlines has introduced flights between Bandar Seri Begawan and Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu in southern India. The airline will operate three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, deploying an Airbus A320neo.

Flight Number BI-121 will take off from Brunei International Airport at 00:30 and arrive in Chennai at 03:20 local time. The return journey, flight Number BI-122, will leave Chennai at 04:20 and touch down again in Brunei at 12:25. The duration of the flight is approximately five hours and thirty minutes
