FlyArystan opens route to Chongqing
TransNusa adds Bali to Phuket service
July 27th, 2026. Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier, FlyArystan, will launch a new service linking Almaty with China’s cyberpunk city, Chongqing, commencing on September 23rd. The route will operate twice a week, departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flight number FS7869 will take off from Almaty International Airport at 20:55 and will arrive at Jiangbei International Airport, Chongqing, at 04:55 the following morning. The return journey, flight number FS7870, will leave Chongqing at 05:55 on Sundays and Thursdays and arrive back in Almaty at 08:25.
An Airbus A320 will serve the route. The outbound flight duration will be five hours, and the return about 30 minutes longer.
Bali to Phuket
Hot on the heels of its flights between Jakarta and Bangkok, which take off on August 6th, TansNusa will also launch direct flights between the region’s two premier resort islands, Bali and Phuket. This route will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting on September 9th, but it will increase to a daily service from October 3rd.
Flight number 8B541 will depart from Bali International Airport, Denpasar, at 11:30 and touch down at Phuket International Airport at 14:35. The return leg, flight number 8B542, will leave Phuket at 15:35 and arrive back in Denpasar at 20:35.
The journey will take about four hours in each direction, and the flight will be served by Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
