Shanghai Airlines heads to Singapore, Hunnu Air launches Tianjin route
May 25th, 2026. FlyArystan will be adding to its China footprint on June 26th when it will launch a new route between Aktau, on the Caspian Sea in western Kazakhstan, and Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang in Northwestern China.
Flight number FS7661 will depart from Aktau International Airport every Tuesday and Friday at 20:10 and arrive at Urumqi Tianshan International Airport at 03:05 the following morning. The return leg, flight number FS7662, will leave Urumqi at 04:05 on Wednesdays and Saturdays and arrive back in Aktau at 05:40.
An Airbus A320 will serve the route, which schedules a flight time of approximately four hours for the outbound journey, and about half an hour longer for the return.
Shanghai to Singapore
Starting on June 10th, Shanghai Airlines will add a new daily service connecting Shanghai and Singapore. Shanghai Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, and bookings can be made via their website.
Flight number FM843 will take off from Shanghai Pu Dong International Airport at 20:55 and will land at Changi Airport, Singapore at 02:25 the next morning. The return journey, flight number FM844, will leave Singapore at 03:25 and touch down again in Shanghai at 08:10.
The outbound journey will last for five and a half hours, and the return about four hours and forty-five minutes. The flight will be served by a Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.
Ulaanbaatar to Tianjin
Mongolia’s Hunnu Air has recently launched an interesting new service connecting the capital, Ulaanbaatar, with China’s northeast coastal city Tianjin. The flight operates twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Flight number MR 805 departs from Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Ulaanbaatar, at 11:30 and arrives at Tianjin Binhai International Airport at 14:00. The return leg, flight number MR 806, leaves Tianjin at 15:00 and lands back in Ulaanbaatar at 17:40.
The route will be served by Embraer E190 aircraft, which will make the journey in approximately two and a half hours in each direction.
