Coronavirus closes Tibet attractions

In an effort to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus Tibet has suspended the operations of all its tourists attractions until further notice. The move is intended to prevent gatherings of tourists and effectively block cross-infections. The Tibet autonomous recorded its first case on January 30, the last province in the country to do so.

Because of its climate and limited health care infrastructure any visitors who insist on travelling to the region will be quarantined for fourteen days at their own expense.

The the local tourism authority people who have already purchased tickets for scenic spots in the region and wish to cancel their trip will have their refund requests handles free of charge.
