June 24th, 2026. On July 16th, China Southern will launch a route between Urumqi and Seoul with a stop in Yantai, a coastal city in eastern Shandong province. The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number CZ6099 will take off from Tianshan International Airport, Urumqi, at 08:45 and land at Yantai’s Penglai International Airport at 13:05, for a 90-minute stop. It continues at 14:35 and arrives at Incheon Airport, Seoul at 17:00.

The return journey, flight number CZ6100, leaves Seoul at 18:00 and lands in Yantai at 18:45 for another ninety-minute layover. It leaves Yantai at 20:15 and arrives back in Urumqi at 01:25 the next morning.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the flight, and the overall flight time will be approximately seven hours and fifteen minutes for the outbound journey and a little less than eight hours for the return.

Navi to Abu Dhabi

Air India Express is to become the first carrier to operate international flights from Mumbai’s Navi Airport. The service takes off on July 15th, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays, but will increase to three times a week from July 29th with the addition of Sunday flights.

Flight number IX207 will depart from Navi Mumbai International Airport at 02:55 and will touch down at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi, at 04:35. The return leg, flight number IX208, will leave Abu Dhabi at 05:45 and arrive back in Mumbai at 10:20.

The route will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft, and the flight time will be a little over three hours in each direction.
