Cebu Pacific adds two routes to China
Parata Air launches a service between Seoul and Shenzhen
October 7th, 2026. Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific is adding two new routes to China. The first will link Cebu with Shanghai, which will be followed by a service linking Manila with Xiamen. The Shanghai service will take off on November 17th and will operate three times a week, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number 5J5322 will depart from Mactan-Cebu International Airport at 19:45 and will arrive at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at 00:05 the next morning. The return journey, flight number 5J5323, will leave Shanghai at 01:05 on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and arrive back in Cebu at 05:40.
The journey time is scheduled at four hours and twenty minutes for the outbound flight and about fifteen minutes longer for the return. An Airbus A320 Neo aircraft will serve the route.
Manila to Xiamen
A week later, on November 23rd, the airline will launch a service between Manila and Xiamen. The route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number 5J268 will take off from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, at 20:20 and arrive at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 22:55. The return leg, flight number 5J269, will leave Xiamen at 23:55 and will arrive back in Manila at 02:35 the following morning.
The flight will be on board an Airbus A320 Neo aircraft, and the flight time will be a little over two and a half hours.
Seoul to Shenzhen
South Korean low-cost carrier Parata Air has a new service connecting Seoul with South China’s tech hub, Shenzhen. The flight will operate four times a week, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Flight number WE853 will depart from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 23:10 and arrive at Bao’an International Airport, Shenzhen at 02:00 the next morning. The return trip, flight number WE854, will leave Shenzhen at 03:30 and arrive back in Seoul at 07:40.
An Airbus A330-200 will operate the route, and the outbound journey will be three hours and fifty minutes, the return will be forty minutes faster.
