All Nippon Airways (ANA) will launch flights between Tokyo an Vladivostok on 16 March 2020. It will be the airlines first destination in Russia. The airline hopes to serve the increasing number of Russians keen to visit Japan but also offers and interesting option for European travellers visiting Asia to go home via the Trans Siberian Express. It may also open the Russian city to greater numbers of visitors keen to explore its architectural heritage.
The flights will commence on March 16 departing Tokyo’s Narita airport at 11:00 with the returning flight departing Vladivostok at 15:15. From March 29 onwards the times will change to 13.35 and 19.10 respectively. The route will be operated by a 146 seat Airbus A320neo.
