New links between Seoul and Yantai, Shenzhen and Surabaya

July 29th, 2026. Kyrgyzstan’s low-cost carrier, AeroNomad, will introduce a service between Bishkek and Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang province, commencing on August 3rd. The route will depart every Monday with flight number KA887 departing from Manas International Airport, Bishkek at 22:00 and arriving at Urumqi’s Tianshan International Airport at 01:35 the next morning. The return journey, flight number KA888, will leave Urumqi at 02:45 and arrive back in Bishkek at 02:30 local time.

The outbound journey time will be ninety-five minutes, and the return will be about ten minutes longer. An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route.

Seoul to Yantai

South Korea’s Jin Air has scheduled a daily service linking Seoul with with Yantia in China’s Shandong province starting from August 18th. The city sits on the Shandong Peninsula’s north coast about 165 kilometres due south of Dalian across the Bohai Sea.

Flight number LJ865 will take off from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 14:45, and will arrive at Penglai International Airport, Yantai at 15:15. The return leg, flight number LJ866, will leave Yantai at 16:30 and touch down back in Seoul at 18:50.

The flight duration will be about ninety minutes for the outbound sector and eighty minutes for the return. The route will be served by Boeing 737 Max 8 Aircraft.

Shenzhen to Surabaya

Starting on September 15th, China Southern Airlines will launch a service between Shenzhen and the Indonesian city of Surabaya. The flight will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Flight number CZ8341 will depart from Shenzhen’s Baoan International Airport at 16:45 and arrive at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya at 21:00. The return trip, flight number CZ8342, will leave Surabaya at 22:30 and land back in Shenzhen at 05:00 the following morning.

An Airbus 321 aircraft is earmarked for the ride, and the journey time will be five hours and fifteen minutes for the outbound flight, and a few minutes longer for the return.
