China Eastern to resume Xi’An to Seoul, Starlux updates Prague route

June 3rd, 2026. Reservations for a new service linking Luanda, the capital of Angola, and Guangzhou have recently opened. The service, operated by Taag Angola Airlines, will depart every Tuesday, taking off on June 23rd.

Flight number DT692 will depart from Dr Agostinho Neto International Airport, Luanda, at 10:50 and will touch down at Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport at 07:50 on Wednesday mornings. The return journey, flight number DT693, will leave Guangzhou at 00:15 on Fridays and arrive back in Luanda at 07:15.

The flight is scheduled to last fourteen hours in each direction and will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

Xi’An to Seoul

China Eastern Airlines is to resume its route between Xi’An and the South Korean Capital, Seoul. The new service will operate four times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays commencing on July 3rd.

Flight number MU853 will take off from Xianyang International Airport, Xi’An at 14:50 and is scheduled to arrive at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 18:40. The return leg, flight number MU854, will leave Seoul at 19:40 and arrive back in Xi’An at 22:00.

An Airbus A320 Neo will serve the route. The flight time for the outbound journey will be two hours and fifty minutes, and about half an hour longer for the return.

Taipei to Prague

As previously reported, a new service between Taipei and Prague will be launched by Starlux Airlines on August 1st. The route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but there will be an additional flight on Mondays between October 1st and the 24th.

Flight number JX101 will take off from Taipei at 00:10 and arrive at Prague Václav Havel Airport at 07:50. The return journey, flight number JX102, will leave Prague at 10:20 and arrive back in Taipei at 05:10 the following morning.

The outbound flight will last about thirteen hours and forty minutes, the inbound, about one hour less. An Airbus A350-900 will serve the route.
