Plus new service from Taichung to Okinawa
April 27th, 2026. Chinese low-cost carrier Spring Airlines has lined up two new services to Jakarta. The first will be from Guangzhou, which will hit the runway on June 16th, followed a day later, on June 17th, by a service from Shenzhen.
The route from Guangzhou will operate three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Flight number 9C7199 will depart from Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou, at 16:05 and arrive at Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport at 20:10. The return leg, flight number 9C7200, will leave Jakarta at 21:10 and arrive back in Guangzhou at 04:00 the next morning.
The outbound flight duration will be approximately five hours, and the return flight a little under six hours. An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route.
The service from Shenzhen is scheduled twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flight number 9C7341 will take off from Shenzhen’s Bao’an International Airport at 14:10 and arrive in Jakarta at 18:20. The return trip, flight number 9C7342, will depart from Jakarta at 19:20 and touch down again in Shenzhen at 01:30 the following morning.
This flight will also be served by Airbus A320 aircraft with a journey time of about five hours and ten minutes in each direction.
Taichung to Okinawa
China Airlines has opened reservations for a service connecting Taichung with Okinawa. The route will operate daily starting on July 21st.
Flight number CI310 will take off from Taichung International Airport at 10:00 and will arrive at Naha Airport in Okinawa at 12:40. The return journey, flight number CI311, will leave Okinawa at 13:40 and arrive back in Taichung at 14:10.
Airbus A321 Neo aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be about one hour and forty minutes for the outbound journey and a little less for the return.
