Visa-free travel to Vietnam
JANUARY 21st, 2025. The Kazakh carrier will be switching its Vietnam destinations for the Spring and Summer seasons. Currently, the airline offers flights from both Almaty and Astana to Phu Quoc. This will change on March 30th and 31st respectively when the destination will be switched to Nha Trang.
Flights from Almaty will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flight Number KC193 will take off from Almaty International Airport at 23:25 and arrive at Cam Ranh International Airport, Nha Trang at 09:20 the following morning.
The return trip, flight number KC194, will depart from Nha Trang on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10:50 and touch down back in Almaty at 16:45.
Flights from Astana will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight Number KC157 will depart from Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport at 23;00 and arrive at Nha Trang at 09:20 the next day.
The return leg will take off from Nha Trang at 10:50 and land back in Astana at 17:50.
The flights will be served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft and will be approximately eight hours from Almaty and nine hours from Astana.
Flights to Phu Quoc will be resumed for the Autumn and Winter seasons.
Three more countries to enjoy visa-free travel to Vietnam
Kazakhstan citizens are eligible for visa-free travel to Vietnam for up to 30 days for tourism.
New measures are now in place for citizens of Switzerland, Poland, and Czechia to enjoy stays of up to 45 days visa-free. The measure will go into effect on March 1st. The three countries join Belarus, Britain, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia Spain, and Sweden, who also enjoy the privilege.
US, Canadian and Australian citizens all need to apply for a visa in advance
