VietJet expands its network
Two new services to Japan and one to Singapore
March 24th, 2025. From late April VietJet will add two new services from Ho Chi Minh City to Japan. A flight to Nagoya will commence on April 24th and operate four times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number VJ856 will depart from Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat Airport at 01:00 and arrive at Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya at 08:30. The return journey, flight number VJ857, will take off from Nagoya at 09:30 and arrive back in Ho Chi Minh at 13:05.
The flight time will be five and a half hours in each direction and will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft
On April 25th the airline will also introduce a service to Fukuoka. The flight will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number VJ832 will depart from Ho Chi Minh at 00:50 and arrive at Fukuoka International Airport at 07:55. The return service, flight number VJ833 will leave Fukuoka at 08:55 and land back in Ho Chi Minh at 11:55.
The airline will deploy Airbus A321 aircraft for a journey lasting about five hours in each direction
And one to Singapore
Vietjet will alsi be launching a new flight connecting Phu Quoc with Singapore on May 30th. It will be the airline’s fourth service linking Vietnam with Singapore complementing its Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Danang routes
The service will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with flight number VJ984 taking off from Singapore’s Changi International Airport at at 13:05 and arriving in Phu Quoc at 13:45. The return leg, flight number VJ983, will depart from Phu Quoc 15:45 and arrive back in Singapore at 18:30.
The airline will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft and the journey takes about one hour and forty minutes.
