On the last day of November, Nepal Airlines relaunched its Kathmandu to Guangzhou route. The service will operate three times a week, departing on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, until March 28th.

Flight number RA417 takes off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport at 21:50 and arrives at Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou at 04:00 the next morning. The return leg, flight number RA418, leaves Guangzhou at 05:00 and arrives back in Kathmandu at 07:55.

The flight will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft, and the journey time will be a little under four hours for the outbound flight and a little over five hours for the return.

Wuxi to Jeju Island

Juneyao Airlines will resume its service linking Wuxi with Jeju Island in South Korea. The flight will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays commencing on December 26th.

Flight number HO1645 will depart from Wuxi Shuofang Airport at 18:50 and will touch down at Jeju International Airport at 21:35. The return journey, flight number HO1646, will leave Jeju at 22:35 and arrive back in Wuxi at 23:10.

The flight duration will be between 90 and 100 minutes each way, and the route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.

China’s online arrival card and new entry ports

Starting on November 20th, foreign visitors to China can complete their arrival card online via the National Immigration Administration platform at https://s.nia.gov.cn/ArrivalCardFillingPC/entry-registation-home.

In addition, ten new airports have been added to the 24-hour visa-free transit allowance. These are: Tianjin Binhai, Dalian Zhoushuizi, Nanjing Lukou, Fuzhou Changle, Qingdao Jiaodong, Wuhan Tianhe, Nanning Wuxu, Haikou Meilan, Chongqing Jiangbei, and Kunming Changshui.

Five new entry points in Guangdong Province have been added to the 240-hour visa-free transit scheme. This allows citizens of 55 eligible countries to visit China visa-free through any of its designated ports for up to 240 hours for tourism and social activities only (no business or study), and provided they have onward tickets.

The new entry points are: Guangzhou, Hengqin*, Zhongshan, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express via West Kowloon Station.

*Hengqin can be reached via Macau, but it should be remembered that Macau, like Hong Kong, is a Special Administrative Region and has its own immigration procedures.
