December 5th, 2025. Air China will be launching a three-times-a-week route between Chengdu and Brussels and a daily service between Beijing and the Belgian capital.
The flight from Beijing takes off on March 29th with flight number CA963, leaving Capital International Airport at 02:40 and arriving at Brussels Airport at 06:10. The return leg, flight number CA964, departs from Brussels at 13:00 and lands back in Beijing at 04:00 the next morning.
The outbound flight duration will be nine and a half hours, and about thirty minutes less for the return. The route will be served by Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The service from Chengdu will launch on March 26th, and will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Flight number CA463 will take off from Chengdu’s Tianfu International Airport at 02:30 and touch down in Brussels at 06:20. The return journey, flight number CA464, will depart Brussels at 13:25 and arrive back in Chengdu at 05:45 the following day.
The flight will be served by Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and the duration will be a little under eleven hours for the outbound flight and about half an hour less for the return.
Chengdu to Almaty
The airline has also earmarked December 30th for the launch of a twice-weekly service linking Chengdu with Kazakhstan’s largest city, Almaty.
The route will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays with flight number CA455 taking off from Chengdu at 18:30 and touching down at Almaty International Airport at 20:00. The return journey, flight number CA456, will leave Almaty at 21:30 and arrive back in Chengdu at 04:30 the next morning.
An Airbus A320 Neo aircraft will serve the route, and the journey time will be about four and a half hours for the outbound flight, and thirty minutes quicker for the return.
Shanghai to Ulaanbaatar
Chinese low-cost carrier Spring Airlines has opened booking for a short, seasonal service between Shanghai and Ulaanbaatar. The service will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays between March 3rd and March 27th only.
Flight number 9C7057 will depart from Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at 08:00 and touch down at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Ulaanbaatar at 12:00. The return leg, flight number 9C7058, will leave Ulaanbaatar at 13:00 and arrive back in Shanghai at 1645.
The outbound flight time will be about four hours, and fifteen minutes less for the return. An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route.
