Summer service between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc
Air Astana has recently launched direct flights between the Kazakh capital, Astana and Danang in Vietnam. The service departs twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Flight number KC259 takes off from Astana’s Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport at 22:55 and arrives at Danang International Airport at 08:25 the following morning. The return leg, flight number KC260, leaves Danang at 10:00 on Thursdays and Mondays and touches down back in Astana at 15:45.
The flight duration is around seven and a half hours in each direction and is served by Airbus A321LR aircraft.
From June 4th the airline will also introduce twice-weekly flights between Almaty and Danang.
The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with flight number KC599 taking off from Almaty International Airport at 00:55 and touching down in Danang at 10:05. The return journey, flight number KC600, will leave Danang at 11:45 and land back in Almaty at 17:00.
The flight is served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft and the duration is a little over seven hours in each direction.
Hong Kong to Phu Quoc
Greater Bay Airlines is introducing a service between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc for the summer season. The flight will operate three times a week from July 16th until August 31st.
Flight number HB520 will operate on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a different time slot for each day. On Wednesdays it will depart from Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok at 08:35 and touch down in Phu Quoc at 10:35. The return, flight number HB521 leaves Phu Quoc at 11:30 and lands back in Hong Kong at 15:20.
The Saturday flight departs Hong Kong at 17:05 and lands in Phi Quoc at 19:10. It starts its return at 20:05 and lands at 23:55. On Sundays the departure time is 16:00 with the flight landing at 17:55. It departs from Phu Quoc at 19:00 and lands back in Hong Kong at 22:50.
The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft for the service which lasts approximately three hours in each direction.
