Three new China destinations for Batik
Batik Air is adding three new destinations to its China network. The new flights, all originating in Kuala Lumpur, will serve Beijing, Changsha and Xiamen and will be taking off between late March and early April.
First on the runway will be a service to the Chinese capital, Beijing commencing on March 21st. Departures will be on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with flight number OD636 departing from Kuala Lumpur at 19:55 and arriving at Beijing’s Daxing International Airport at 02:00 the next morning.
The return leg, flight number OD637, will leave Beijing at 03:00 and arrive back in Kuala Lumpur at 09:05. The flight duration will be a little over six hours and will be served by a Boeing 737 Max 8.
To Changsha
The service to Changsha starts a day later, on March 22nd. The service will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight number OD642 will take off from Kuala Lumpur at 19:20 and land at Changsha Huanghua International Airport a little after midnight at 00:10.
The return trip will depart from Changsha at 01:20 on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays touching down in Kuala Lumpur at 06:10. The flight will deploy a Boeing 737 Max 8 and the flight time is a little under five hours.
To Xiamen
The service to Xiamen will be launched on April 11th with departures on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flight number OD678 will take off from Kuala Lumpur at 20:00 and touch down at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 00:30.
The return journey, flight number OD679, will depart from Xiamen at 01:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive back in Kuala Lumpur at 06:00. The duration of the flight is four and a half hours and will be served by a Boeing 737-800
