Sun PhuQuoc flies to Hong Kong
Spring resumes Ningbo to Kaohsiung, and Beijing Capital flies to Lisbon
April 8th, 2026. Sun PhuQuoc Airways will be launching a new international route on May 22nd. This one will connect the popular resort island in southern Vietnam with Hong Kong five times a week with flights on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Flight number 9G502 will depart from Phu Quoc International Airport at 11:55 and land at Hong Kong International Airport at 15:45. The return leg, flight number 9G501, will leave Hong Kong at 16:45 and arrive back in Phu Quoc at 18:35.
An Airbus A321 Neo aircraft will serve the flight, and the journey time is scheduled at two hours and fifty minutes in each direction.
This will be the airline’s third international destination after Taipei and Seoul.
Ningbo to Kaohsiung
China’s low-cost carrier, Spring Airlines, is dusting off its service between Ningbo and Kaohsiung. The airline last flew the route back in 2019. The new service will take off on July 4th and operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Flight number 9C8685 will depart from Ningbo Lishe International Airport at 15:30 and touch down at Kaohsiung International Airport at 17:35. The return journey, flight number 9C8686, will leave Kaohsiung at 18:35 and land back in Ningbo at 20:35.
The flight time will be about two hours in each direction, and an Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route.
Beijing to Lisbon
Beijing Capital Airlines will be operating a once-a-week service between Beijing and Lisbon. The season will last from June 22nd until September 28th.
Flight number JD627 will depart from Beijing Daxing International Airport at 10:55 each Monday and will touch down at Lisbon Airport at 17:15. The return trip, flight number JD628, leaves Lisbon at 18:55 and lands back in Beijing at 14:00 the following afternoon.
The outbound flight will last about thirteen hours and twenty minutes, and the return, a little over twelve hours. An Airbus A330 aircraft will serve the route.
Beijing Capital can be booked through the Hainan Airlines website but it wasn’t working for me at the time of writing, but Skycanner were offered several ticketing agents with the flights
