Starlux flies to Busan and Prague
New services are lined up from Taipei and Taichung
March 6th, 2026. Taiwan carrier, Starlux Airlines, has opened reservations for two new routes to Busan, the southern port city in South Korea. First on the runway will be a daily service from Taipei with two different time slots, commencing on June 1st.
On Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, flight number JX902 will take off from Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport at 14:45 and will arrive at Gimhae International Airport, Busan at 17:55. The return trip, flight number JX903, will leave Busan at 18:55 and land back in Taipei at 20:15.
The Monday and Wednesday services, flight number JX900, will depart from Taipei at 08:15 and touch down in Busan at 11:30. It returns as flight number JX901, leaving Busan at 12:30 and arriving back in Taipei at 13:45.
The journey time will be approximately two hours and fifteen minutes in each direction, the the route will be served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft.
Taichung to Busan
On June 2nd, the airline will launch a route between Taichung and Busan. This will operate three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number JX310 will depart from Taichung International Airport at 08:10 and will arrive in Busan at 11:30. The return leg, flight number JX311, will leave Busan at 12:30 and arrive back in Taichung at 14:00.
Airbus A321 Neo aircraft will also operate this route, and the journey time will be about two and a half hours.
Taipei to Prague
For those who like to plan well ahead, reservations are now open for the airline’s direct route between Taipei and the Czech capital, Prague. The service will launch on August 1st and operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number JX101 will take off from Taipei at 00:10 and arrive at Prague Václav Havel Airport at 07:50. The return journey, flight number JX102, will leave Prague at 10:20 and arrive back in Taipei at 05:10 the following morning.
The outbound flight will last about thirteen hours and forty minutes, the inbound, about one hour less. An Airbus A350-900 will serve the route
