A new route from Hong Kong to Nha Trang

Commencing on April 14th Singapore’s Scoot will launch direct flights between the city-state and Iloilo on the southern side of Panay Island in the heart of the Philippine archipelago. The city, founded by the Spanish in 1566, is one of the oldest Spanish settlements in the country and boasts a wealth of colonial-era architecture.

It is also the home of the colourful Dinagyang Festival which is held on the fourth Sunday of January each year to commemorate the historic pact between Malay settlers and the indigenous Ati people.

Initially, the flight will operate twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. From late June it will increase to four times a week with the addition of flights on Sundays and Fridays.

Flight number TR374 will depart from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 02:00 and
arrive at Iloilo International Airport at 05:35. The return trip, flight number TR375, will take off from Iloilo at 06:10 and arrive back in Singapore at 09:45.

The flight will be served by an Embraer E190-E2 and will last for a little over three and a half hours.
