Jetstar Japan to resume Manila route, and Jeju Air flies to Guilin

August 31st, 2025. China Southern is now taking reservations for its Guangzhou to Darwin service, which will launch on December 3rd. The flight will operate three times a week, departing on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number CZ8361 will take off from Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport at 21:50 and will arrive at Darwin International Airport at 05:55 the following morning. The return journey, flight number CZ8362, will depart from Darwin at 07:30 and will land back in Guangzhou at 12:25.

The route will be served by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, and the flight duration will be about six and a half hours in each direction

Osaka to Manila

Jetstar Japan is resuming its Osaka to Manila route. The airline operated the service back in 2020; more recently, it was served by the now-defunct Jetstar Asia. The service takes off on October 26th and will operate four times a week, departing on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

For the first week, from October 26th until November 1st, and between December 10th and January 24th, the flight will operate daily.

Flight number GK81 will depart from Osaka’s Kansai International Airport at 22:00 and touch down at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila at 01:40 the next morning. The return leg, flight number GK82, leaves Manila at 02:40 and arrives back in Osaka at 07:25.

The duration of the outbound flight will be about four hours and forty minutes, and around an hour less for the return. The route will be served by Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

Seoul to Guilin

A short seasonal route between Seoul and Guilin will be operated by Jeju Air during October. The flight will depart four times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The service will operate between October 1st and 25th.

Flight number 7C8611 will depart from Seoul’s Incheon Airport at 21:25 and arrive at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 00:40 the next morning. The return leg, flight number 7C8612, will leave Guilin at 01:40 on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and arrive back in Seoul at 06:30.

The flight will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and the journey time will be approximately four hours.
