New service links Dhaka and London
Batik Air Malaysia to launch new route from Subang to Jakarta
October 29th, 2025. Biman Bangladesh Airlines has earmarked November 13th to launch a new direct route between Dhaka and London. The service will operate once a week on Thursdays.
Flight number BG301 will take off from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:30, and will arrive at London’s Heathrow Airport at 16:05. The return leg, flight number BG302, will depart from London at 18:00 and will touch down again in Dhaka at 09:35 the following morning.
A Boeing 787-900 aircraft will serve the route. The duration of the outbound journey will be approximately eleven and a half hours, while the return will be around two hours faster.
This new direct route will complement the four times a week that the airline flies to Heathrow via Sylhet in Eastern Bangladesh.
Subang to Jakarta
Batik Air Malaysia will launch a new service connecting Kuala Lumpur’s second airport at Subang with the Indonesian capital. The flight will be in addition to the daily service the airline already operates from Kuala Lumpur’s main international airport. Jakarta. The service will operate daily starting on December 8th.
Flight Number OD348 will depart from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, at 09:00 and will arrive at Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport at 10:10. The return journey, flight number OD349, will leave Jakarta at 11:00 and arrive back at Subang at 14:05.
The journey time will be a little over two hours in each direction, and the route will be served by a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
