New routes to Singapore and SE Asia
Ulaanbaatar and Wuxi to The Garden City, Hong Kong to Phuket

July 29th, 2025. The resumption of Juneyao Airlines’ route between Wuxi, in China’s Jiangsu province, and Singapore will commence on August 29th, after a four-year break. The service will depart four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number HO1561 will take off from Wuxi’s Shuofang Airport at 20:40 and touch down at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 02:15 the following morning. The return leg, flight number HO1562, will depart from Singapore at 03:15 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and will land back in Wuxi at 08:50.

Airbus A320 Neo aircraft will make the journey, which will last for about five and a half hours in each direction.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has opened reservations for a new service linking the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar, with Singapore. The service will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, commencing on November 4th.

Flight number OM709 will depart from Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Ulaanbaatar, at 10:35 and arrive in Singapore at 18:00. The return trip, flight number OM710, will leave Singapore at 19:25 and land back in Ulaanbaatar at 02:55 the next morning.

The journey time will be approximately seven and a half hours in each direction, and the route will be served by Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

To Southern Thailand

Hong Kong to Phuket is back on the flight schedule for Hong Kong Airlines. The daily service will commence on November 14th.

Flight number HX741 will depart from Hong Kong’s International Airport at Chek Lap Kok at 11:50 and arrive in Phuket at 14:50. The return leg, flight number HX742, will leave Phuket at 15:55 and land back in Hong Kong at 20:05.

The outbound flight duration will be about four hours, and an hour less for the return. The airline will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft for the route.
