Flights from Chongqing, Seoul, and Los Angeles
February 27th, 2026. Commencing on March 29th, Chongqing Airlines will introduce direct flights between Chongqing and Hong Kong. The service, which is a codeshare with China Southern, will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number OQ2061/CZ2061 will take off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 10:00 and touch down at Hong Kong International Airport at 12:20. The return trip, flight number OQ2062/CZ2062, leaves Hong Kong at 13:25 and arrives back in Chongqing at 15:40.
The route will be served by Airbus A320neo aircraft, and the journey time is scheduled at two hours and twenty minutes for the outbound flight, a few minutes less for the return.
This flight is a code share; reservations can be made there on the China Southern website.
Seoul to Hong Kong
Meanwhile, reservations have opened for South Korean low-cost carrier EastarJet will relaunch a daily service between Seoul and Hong Kong, after a six-year hiatus.
Flight number ZE861 will depart from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 20:10 and will arrive in Hong Kong at 22:45. The return Journey, flight number ZE862, will leave Hong Kong at 0:05 and land back in Seoul at 05:10.
The outbound flight duration will be approximately three and a half hours, and the return, about half an hour shorter. The route will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Los Angeles to Hong Kong
Delta will also be launching a new daily service from Los Angeles to Hong Kong, taking off on June 6th.
Flight number DL89 will depart from Los Angeles International Airport at 23:05 and arrive in Hong Kong at 05:05 two calendar days later. The return leg, flight number DL88, leaves Hong Kong at 09:25 and arrives back in Los Angeles at 07:55.
Airbus A350-900 aircraft will be deployed for the route, and the outbound journey time will be about fifteen hours and thirteen and a half hours for the return.
