New route to Haiphong
Guangzhou to Vietnam’s port city, also Macau to Taiyuan and Shijiazhuang to Vientiane

December 22nd, 2025. Shenzhen Airlines has lined up a service connecting Guangzhou with Vietnam’s port city, Haiphong. The service launches on January 6th and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number ZH129 will take off from Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou, at 15:55 and will touch down at Haiphong’s Cat Bi International Airport at 17:20. The return leg, flight number ZH130, will leave Haiphong at 18:20 and arrive back in Guangzhou at 21:15.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the flight, which will take about two and a half hours for the outbound trip, and about half an hour less for the return.

Macau to Taiyuan

Air Macau will offer a short seasonal route linking the Special Administrative Region with Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province. The service commences on January 29th and will operate three times a week until March 3rd.

Flight number NX016 will depart from Macau International Airport at 13:10 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport at 16:00. The return trip, flight number NX015, leaves Taiyuan at 17:00 on Saturdays and 17:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will land back in Macau at 20:20.

The route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft, and the journey time will be about three hours.

Shijiazhuang to Vientiane

Starting on December 27th, China United Airlines will introduce a once-a-week service linking Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province in China and Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

Flight number KN805 will depart from Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport at 19:30 every Saturday, and arrive at Vientiane’s Wattay International Airport at 22:55. In the other direction, flight number KN806 leaves Vientiane at 13:50 and arrives in Shijiazhuang at 18:40.

The duration of the outbound journey will be approximately four and a half hours, and about 30 minutes less for the return. The route will be served by Boeing 737 aircraft.

The airline’s website is Chinese language only, but Skyscanner has some options.
