Flights from Tashkent to Hangzhou and Shenzhen to be launched
February 25th, 2026Both Qanot Sharq and Uzbekistan Airways added direct flights between the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, and Hangzhou to their timetables. Hangzhou is the capital of China’s Zhejiang province and sits at the southern end of the Jinghang Waterway or Grand Canal, which originates in Beijing. The city is noted for the picturesque West Lake scenic area.
First on the runway will be Uzbekistan Airways, whose service will operate twice a week starting on March 29th. Flight number HY503 will depart from Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport. Tashkent at 13:30 on Thursdays and Sundays, and arrive at Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport at 22:40. The return leg, flight number HY504, will leave Hangzhou at 00:10 on Fridays and Mondays and land back in Tashkent at 04:30.
The route will be served by Boeing 787-800 aircraft, and the journey will be a little over six hours for the outbound flight and about seven and a half hours for the return.
Qanot Sharq’s service will launch two days later on March 31st, also operating twice a week with departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flight number HH873 will take off from Tashkent at 13:40 and will land in Hangzhou at 23:10. The return journey, flight number HH874, will depart from Hangzhou at 00:40 on Wednesdays and Sundays and arrive back in Tashkent at 05:20.
The outbound flight will last six and a half hours, and the return about one hour longer. The route will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft.
Tashkent to Shenzhen
Uzbekistan Airways will also launch a once-a-week route between Tashkent and the southern tech hub, Shenzhen. Commencing on March 29th, flight number HY575 will depart from Tashkent at 22:10 on Sundays and will arrive at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport at 07:40 the next morning. The return trip, flight number HY576, will leave Shenzhen at 09:10 on Mondays and land back in Tashkent at 13:30.
Airbus 321 Neo will serve the flight, and the duration will be about six and a half hours for the outbound flight and a little under seven and a half hours for the return.
