New link between Delhi and Beijing
Also flights from Chongqing to Manila, and Macau to Fukuoka
March 30th, 2026. On April 21st, Air China will reinstate links between Delhi and Beijing. The service was suspended during the pandemic, and it is only recently that flights between the two countries have resumed.
The service connecting the two capitals will operate three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Flight number CA947 will take off from Beijing’s Capital International Airport at 15:15 and touch down at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi at 20:20. The return leg, flight number CA948, will leave Delhi at 22:50 and land back in Beijing at 07:40 the following morning.
The duration of the outbound journey will be approximately seven and a half hours; the return will be about one hour less. An Airbus A330-200 will serve the route.
Chongqing to Manila
The airline will also launch a new route connecting Chongqing with Manila. The service will operate four times a week, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Flight number CA481 will depart from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 20:50 and will arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, at 00:50 the next morning. The return trip, flight number CA482, will leave Manila at 01:50 on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and land back in Chongqing at 05:40.
A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the route, which will last about four hours in each direction
Macau to Fukuoka
Air Macau will operate a two-month seasonal flight to Fukuoka, Japan. The service will operate three times a week between July 1st and August 31st.
Flight number NX818 will take off from Macau International Airport at 08:40 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and arrive at Fukuoka Airport at 13:00. The return journey, flight number NX817, will leave Fukuoka at 14:00 and land back in Macau at 16:25.
An Airbus A320 will serve the route, and the flight time will be a little under three and a half hours in each direction.
