New flights from Yínchuān to Hong Kong
Shanghai to Delhi relaunched, and Changchun to Kuala Lumpur, via Fuzhou

October 24th, 2025. Starting on October 30th, Xiamen Air will launch direct flights between Yínchuān, the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China, and the Hong Kong SAR. The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number MF8691 will take off from Yinchuan Hedong International Airport at 16:40 and arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 20:00. The return trip, flight number MF8692, leaves Hong Kong at 21:00 and arrives back in Yínchuān at 00:20 the next morning.

The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft for the journey, which will last about three hours and twenty minutes in each direction.

Shanghai to Delhi

China Eastern will relaunch its Shanghai to Delhi service on November 9th. The flight will operate three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Flight number MU563 will depart from Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at 12:50 and will land at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi at 17:45. The return leg, flight number MU564, will leave Delhi at 19:55 and arrive back in Shanghai at 04:10 the next day.

The duration of the outbound flight will be about seven and a half hours, and a little under six hours for the return. The route will be served by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Changchun and Fuzhou to Kuala Lumpur

Meanwhile, Shanghai Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Eastern, is linking Changchun with Kuala Lumpur, via Fuzhou, starting from December 6th. The service will operate three times a week, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number FM813 will depart from Changchun’s Changchun Longjia International Airport at 14:55 and arrive at Changle International Airport, Fuzhou at 19:00 for a 90-minute layover. It resumes its journey at 20:30 and touches down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 01:35 the next morning.

The return leg, flight number FM814, takes off from Kuala Lumpur at 02:35 on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and arrives in Fuzhou at 07:30. The flight continues at 09:15 and arrives back in Changchun at 13:05.

The route will be served by Boeing 737, and the overall flight time will be about ten and a half hours in each direction.
