New flights from Korea to Kobe and Ishigaki
February 25th, 2025. Korean Air is to launch a new service between Seoul and Kobe, in Japan. The airline will operate two flights a day commencing on April 18th.
Kobe is the capital of Hyōgo Prefecture and the country’s third largest port after Tokyo and Yokohama. It sits on the northern shore of Osaka Bay within easy reach of Osaka and Kyoto
An early morning service, flight number KE731, will depart from Seoul’s Incheon Airport at 08:25 and arrive in Kobe at 10:00. The return leg, flight number KE732, will depart from Kobe at 11:00 and arrive back in Seoul at 13:00.
The second service of the day, flight number KE733, will take off from Seoul at 15:50 and arrive in Kobe at 17:30. The return Journey will depart from Kobe at 18:30 and arrive back in Seoul at 20:40.
The duration of the outward flights will be around ninety minutes while the return is about two hours. The flight will be served by B737-900 aircraft.
Seoul to Ishigaki
South Korean low-cost carrier Jin Air will be launching direct flights between Seoul and Ishigaki, Ishigaki, one of the southernmost islands of Japan’s Okinawa prefecture, from April 3rd.
The service will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with flight number LJ361 taking off from Seoul’s Incheon Airport at 09:05 and anding in Ishigaki at 12:00. The return leg, flight number LJ362, will depart from Ishigaki at 13:00 and arrive back in Seoul at 15:30.
The flight duration is a little under three hours for the outward journey, two hours and thirty minutes for the return, and will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft
