New flights from China to Europe
October 23rd, 2024. Hainan Airlines is continuing to rebuild its services to European destinations. On December 1st the airline will launch new, direct flights between Chengdu and Vienna. Flight number HU781 will take off from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport at 02:45 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday and land in Vienna at 06:05.
The return leg, flight number HU782 will depart from Vienna at 12:30 and arrive back in Chengdu at 05:10 the following morning. The duration is approximately ten hours in each direction and will be served by Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
This new flight with be the airline’s second route to the Austrian capital after its twice-weekly service from Shenzhen which operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Also to Madrid and Paris
The airline will also restart its service between Shenzhen and Madrid with two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting from November 19th. Flight number HU749 will depart from Shenzhen’s Baoan Airport at 01:45 and arrive at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport at 08:45.
The return journey, flight number HU750 will take off from Madrid at 10:55 and land back in Shenzhen at 06:50 the next day. The airline deploys a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for the flight.
From October 30th Hainan Airlines will also add a weekly flight between Xi’an and Paris. Flight number HU7907 will take off from Xi’an Xianyang International Airport at 02:00 every Wednesday and will touch down at Charles De Gaulle International Airport in Paris at 06:20.
The return journey will depart from Paris at 12:50 and arrive back in Xi’an at 06:00 on Thursday morning. The service utilises Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft and the duration is about eleven hours
