New daily flight links Dubai with Hangzhou
Qingdao Airlines will fly to Shizuoka and Jeju Air connects Seoul to Kaohsiung
June 2nd, 2025. Emirates is to launch a new daily service connecting Dubai with Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province in China and the southern end of the Grand Canal. The picturesque West Lake is just outside the city and is dotted with islands, temples and bridges. It has been a popular spot with artists for over a thousand years.
The service will launch on July 30th with flight number EK310 will take off from Dubai International Airport at 09:40 and land at Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport at 22:00. The return leg, flight number EK311, will depart from Hangzhou at 00:10 and land back in Dubai at 04:55.
The aircraft will be a Boeing 777-300ER and the flight time is around eight hours and twenty minutes for the outbound journey and 30 half an hour longer for the return.
Qingdao Airlines will fly to Shizuoka
Qingdao Airlines will be launching a weekly service between in home base in Qingdao and Shizuoka, in Japan. The service will operate every Thursday commencing on July 17th.
Flight number QW9905 will depart from Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport at 15:00 and arrive at Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport at 19:00. The return journey leaves Shizuoka at 19:50 and lands back in Qingdao at 22:05.
The flight will be onboard an Airbus A320 aircraft and the the journey time is about three hours for the outbound flight and a little longer for the return.
The airline’s website is only in Chinese but Skyscanner lists two agents that offer bookings.
Jeju Air connects Seoul to Kaohsiung
South Korea’s Jeju Air will be relaunching its Seoul to Kaohsiung service. It had been suspended at the end of 2024 but will resume on July 29th with three flights a week.
The flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays with flight number 7C6103 departing Seoul’s Gimpo Airport at 09:50 and touching down at Kaohsiung International Airport at 12:00. The return journey, flight number 7C6104, will leave Kaohsiung at 13:00 and touch down again in Seoul 16:55.
The airline will use a Boeing 737-800 aircraft for the trip whose duration will be approximately three hours
