Thai AirAsia is to launch a new cross country domestic route

October 9th, 2025. Commencing on December 2nd, Vietnam Airlines will introduce a new service linking Hanoi with Cebu, in the Philippines. The flight will depart three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Flight number VN643 will take off from Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport at 22:50 and will touch down at Mactan-Cebu International Airport at 03:30 the next morning. The return journey, flight number VN642, will leave Cebu at 04:45 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and will arrive back in Hanoi at 07:35.

The flight duration will be around three hours and forty minutes on the way to Cebu, and a little longer on the way back. The route will be served by an Airbus A321 aircraft.

Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines has lined up a new route linking Cebu with Guam. The service takes off on December 16th with departures three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number PR120 will depart from Cebu at 21:40 and arrive at Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam at 03:25 the following morning. The return leg, flight number PR121, will leave Guam at 05:15 on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and touch down again in Cebu at 06:50.

The outbound journey will be about three hours and forty-five minutes, and about ten minutes shorter for the return. The flight will be served by an Airbus A321 aircraft.

Wings across Northern Thailand

Thai AirAsia is introducing a new cross-country domestic route in the pipeline. Starting on December 1st, the Airline will launch a service linking Chiang Mai with Udon Thani. Flights will operate four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number FD2010 will depart from Chiang Mai at 10:10 and land in Udon Thani at 11:15. The return trip, flight number FD2011, leaves Udon Thani at 11:45 and touches down again in Chiang Mai at 12:50.

The route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft, and the journey is scheduled to last around sixty-five minutes in each direction.
