Spring Airlines to resume Guangzhou to Singapore

March 16th, 2026. AirAsia is expanding its China network with the introduction of flights to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province. The airline will operate four flights a week departing on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Flight number AK 150 will take off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 18:10 and arrive at Tianhe International Airport, Wuhan at 23:05. The return leg, flight number AK151, will depart from Wuhan at 00:05 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive back in Kuala Lumpur at 05:10.

Airbus A320 Neo aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be about five hours in each direction.

The airline has also just launched a daily service to Batam, in Indonesia’s Riau Islands group, just to the south of Singapore.

Flight number AK472 departs from Kuala Lumpur at 08:05 and arrives at Batam’s Hang Nadim International Airport at 08:15. The return journey, flight number AK471, leaves Batam at 08:45 and arrives back in Kuala Lumpur at 10:55.

The 70-minute flight will be handled by an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Guangzhou to Singapore

China’s Spring Airlines is dusting off its route linking Guangzhou with Singapore after an eight-year hiatus. The new service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight number 9C7495 will depart from Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou, at 16:05 and arrive at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 20:00. The return leg, flight number 9C7496, will leave Singapore at 21:00 and touch down again in Guangzhou at 01:35 the following morning.

The outbound flight duration will be a little under four hours, and the return will be about half an hour longer. The route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.
