From Perth to Manila and Brisbane to Cebu. Royalair adds Taipei
July 21st, 2025. Qantas’ low-cost subsidiary Jetstar Airways will be launching direct flights between Perth, in Western Australia and Manila. The service will operate three times a week, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, commencing on November 27th.
Flight number JQ81 will depart from Perth Airport at 21:10 and touch down in Manila at 04:15 the next morning. The return leg, flight number JQ80, leaves Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 05:35 on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and arrives back in Perth at 13:00.
The flight will be served by Airbus A321 Neo aircraft, and the journey time will be approximately seven hours for the outbound trip and about half an hour longer for the return.
On December 3rd, the Airline will also introduce a route between Brisbane and Cebu. The flight will operate three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number JQ101 will depart from Brisbane Airport at 12:30 and arrive at Mactan-Cebu International Airport at 17:15. The return Journey, flight number JQ100, will leave Cebu at 20:15 and arrive back in Brisbane at 05:05 the next morning.
The journey time will be a little under seven hours in each direction, and the aircraft will be Airbus A321 Neo.
Royalair Philippines to Taipei
Philippines’ low-cost carrier Royalair has commenced services between Manila and Taipei. The flight operates three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number RW246 takes off from Manila at 07:20 and lands at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei at 09:50. The return journey, flight number RW247, leaves Taipei at 21:30 and lands back in Manila at 00:05 the next morning.
The airline deploys Airbus A320 aircraft, and the flight time is about two hours and thirty minutes in each direction.
