Citilink and Xiamen Airlines head to Bangkok, Thai Lion goes to Seoul

December 10th, 2025. Indonesian carrier, low-cost airline, Citilink, will introduce a daily direct service connecting Jakarta and Bangkok.

Flight number QG512 will take off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, at 12:30 and will arrive at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 16:10. The return leg, flight number QG513, will leave Bangkok at 17:10 and will land back in Jakarta at 20:30.

The duration of the flight will be approximately three and a half hours in each direction, and the route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Jakarta to Bangkok

Xiamen Airlines is lining up a short seasonal route between Changsha and Bangkok. The flight will operate daily between February 2nd and March 13th.

Flight number MF8643 will depart from Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 0830 and touch down at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11:05. The return leg, flight number MF8644, will leave Bangkok at 12:05 and arrive back in Changsha at 16:20.

A 737-800 aircraft will serve the route, which is scheduled to take three hours and thirty-five minutes for the outbound flight and twenty minutes less for the return.

Bangkok to Seoul

Meanwhile, low-cost carrier Thai Lion Air is planning a new service between Bangkok and Seoul. The flight will operate daily, taking off on January 15th.

Flight number SL352 will depart from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 03:20 and will touch down at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 10:55. The return journey, flight number SL353, will leave Seoul at 13:30 and arrive back in Bangkok at 17:15.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will serve the route, and the flight time will be about five and a half hours for the outbound journey, and about fifteen minutes longer for the return.
