Indigo flies to Amsterdam and Manchester
China Eastern adds to Paris
Commencing on July 1st, Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo Airlines will add a direct service linking Mumbai with Manchester in northwest England. The flight will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight number 6E31 will take off from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 04:15 and arrive at Manchester International Airport at 09:15. The return leg, flight number 6E32, will leave Manchester at 12:00 and arrive back in Mumbai at 01:35 the next morning.
The flight will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft and the duration will be about nine and a half hours for the outward flight and nine hours for the return.
A day later the airline will start a service to the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. This flight will also operate three times a week departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Flight number 6E21 will depart from Mumbai at 05:20 and touch down at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 11:00. The return journey, flight number 6E22 will leave Amsterdam at 14:00 and land back in Mumbai at 01:55 the next day.
This flight will also deploy Boeing 787-9 aircraft and the duration will be a little over nine hours for the outward flight, eight and a half hours for the return.
Nanjing to Paris
Meanwhile China Eastern will be adding a brief seasonal service between Nanjing and Paris between July 9th and August 27th.
Flight number MU845 will depart from Nanjing Lukou International Airport at 00:45 and will touch down at Paris Charles de Gaulle at 07:00. The return leg will leave Paris at 12:50 and land back in Nanjing at 06:10 the following day.
The journey will be on board a Boeing 777-300 aircraft and will last for about twelve hours and fifteen minutes for the outward flight, and about half an hour longer for the return.
