Hanoi to Milan and Moscow
RoyalAir adds Manila to Hong Kong service
May 19th, 2025. Starting on July 1st, Vietnam Airlines will be launching direct flights between Hanoi and Milan. This will be the first direct flight between Vietnam and the Italian fashion and culture hub.
The service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flight number VN73 will take off from Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport at 00:45 and arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport at 07:40. The return leg, flight number VN72 will leave Milan at 12:45 and arrive back in Hanoi at 04:30 the following morning.
The flight will be served by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The duration of the outbound flight will be around twelve hours, the return around ten hours and forty-five minutes.
Meanwhile, the airline has also resumed its service between the Vietnamese capital and Moscow. Presently the flights are operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are plans to increase the service to three times a week sometime in July though no other days are available on the airline’s website yet.
Flight number VN63 departs from Hanoi at 10:45 and arrives at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport at 15:40. The return trip, flight number VN62, departs from Moscow at 17:40 and lands back in Hanoi at 06:05 the next day.
The flight duration is about nine hours for the westbound flight and half an hour less for the return. The airline deploys a Boeing 787-9 aircraft for the journey.
Royal Air adds Manila to Hong Kong
Philippines low-cost carrier Royal Air will be adding five flights a week between Manila and Hong Kong. The service will launch on June 13th and operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Flight number RW280 will depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 6:25 and touch down at Hong Kong International Airport at 08:55. The return leg, flight number RW281 will leave Hong Kong at 12:10 and arrive back in Manila at 02:40.
The flight will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft and the duration will be about two and a half hours each way.
